You can use Terse to build and run multiplayer AI agents using durable serverless actors. Each actor acts as an isolated micro-server equipped with its own dedicated SQLite database and handles requests sequentially to prevent data races. Clients connect straight to specific actors using WebSockets, removing load from centralized databases and servers. The infrastructure runs on a fast Rust runtime with typed TypeScript APIs. Because it is completely open source, you can self-host the system on your own Kubernetes cluster using the provided Helm chart.
