You can use OpenTofu to provision, configure, and manage cloud resources across multiple providers using declarative code. As an open-source fork and drop-in replacement for Terraform, it allows you to maintain existing infrastructure configurations without changing workflows. You can selectively exclude resources during deployments using dedicated CLI flags, iterate over providers dynamically with loops, centrally manage module versions through early variable evaluation, and protect sensitive state files with native client-side encryption backed by services like AWS KMS and GCP KMS.
